I have used my Rio in the ocean and bay areas around the eastern shore of Delaware for months without issues. Several members here run in the salt water. Personally I'm probably 50-50 salt/fresh. Mauian is one who regularally playes in salt. Just wait, he'll find this thread![sm=wink_smile.gif]

We run in saltwater. Make sure you flush out your engine with fresh water, and spray with wd40. Saltwater WILL rust everything that can rust. Water cooled is the way to go.

Just take a container of fresh water with you that you can connect to your water lines and flush it out that way.

wd40 everything after you finish running.
