Default Where do you buy your props? which metal is best?

I would like to know some good places and people to deal with when it comes to picking a prop and quality and service.

I also would like to know what metal is best stainless or aluminum or the copper, berylium, titanium grimmracer does.

I did find a site that sold props that were ready to bolt on but cant find it now, I forgot too add to favs. they also had injection molded aluminum props that didnt need sharpening or balancing and were quite inexpensive. If anybody know of this website I would really appreciate an address or a link.

I just purchased some aluminium props from whobbies in Fl, USA. I currently have brass, so can't tell you the performance diff (still trying to get my boat on a good run anyway). I thought they were reasonably priced.

Be careful with them aluminum props, they broke twice on me and cost me a stinger and flex cable plus the props.

BC props and Stainless are the best material.

I know it's been said but Chris (dasboata) is an excellent source for props. I have also had good luck with mark (Props4U)

Thanks for all the info. WHH was the place I had seen earlier but for some odd reason could not remember the name. I will def check them all out.

Mauian, did they break after they contacted something or just let go by themselves. how did it cost you the flex shaft and stinger?

I have used Mark (props4u) before. He does nice work but is usually backed right up so it may take a while to recieve your props. I have heard good things about dasboata.

I've had Mark Sholund do up a prop for me also, great work but he also has a full-time job.
I'm one of the hundreds waiting for some of Andy Brown's new billet steel props. I've seen a couple of the aluminum nitro and electric props, they're killer!
I've heard nothing but good about Chris also.

OH Man...... I have so much to learn! Good thing I can't get the prop nut off my boat to replace the kinked, unbalanced prop I currently have. I always fall for the marketing garb....... [&o]

dasboata here too, he balances them properly (not fast and nasty as many do) and he stands behind his products. An unbalanced prop will chew out your bearings and break prop shafts quicker than you think.

Chris does a great job and excellent props.

Voodoo props are also a work of Art, there almost too nice to run them

I stay away from aluminum props, BC or SS is the way to go.

I love the WHH ENFORCER I got this past week. I need a really nice prop also. the one on it has been dinged up a bit, and I want to increase my speed with a 3 blade, and still have the massive roostertail.

I will go with voodoo .
