Zippkits has a gas OB tunnel among others. Aeromarine's is so-so. Woodstuff is a good one but expensive and if you can find one.
The is one made overseas called an Ossi or something similar that not only runs good but looks good too.

hey doom, the lines on most of the boats i build just kind a happen like that as i cut the foam, i use 1" foam layers so as you cut and carve the shape, gives good lines to mesure off of as you cut. as far as the design of them, i just look around these sites for pixs & info, you can find alot of nice pix to scale from

how do you keep the sponsons the same size? at the price of the lower unit for a outboard could i just use a cat setup? or would that not work? i have a MRP electric tunnel hull, and wonder how i could just scale it up for a gas tunnel?

hi doom,i cut the sponsons on the tablesaw to keep them the same, its the glass work thats hard, you could mok off your elec boat, just keep in mind,a tunnel hull is shallower & the bottom is laid out more flat, then a cat

Insane Boats has a tunnel boat. I've seen it run. With a 26 it will run, but with a 29, it will RUN.
