Default Futaba 3PM FS Pro...how is it?

What do you think of this radio. I have 4 models, and would like to use only 1 radio. I've been reading a lot about Spektrum, but would cost nearly 1k for everything needed for 4 rc applications. 1 gas boat, 1 nitro boat, 1 nitro truck and 1 electric car. On the pro, it has the HRS system on it. Shaving a few milliseconds on response isn't that big of a deal to me, but a glitch free system is. Is anyone using this system. I would be using digital servos to get the most out of this system. I prefer Futaba as this is really all I've ever used, with the exception of the radios that came with my RTR's. I would be inclined to look at other systems that may be better than the one I specifed...but I'm trying to stay in the same price range as the Futaba.

the 3PM FS Pro is not a 2.4 system but a Synthesized FM and HRS Radio.

Looks like a good radio system to me.

Dan.

Correct, not the 2.4 system. Is anyone currently using it. I searched in the Radio forum, but no threads concerning this model.

I have learned that some radio's are not water friendly
Just be careful which one you buy and make sure you talk to the guys in here to see which ones we are all running in our boats.
I am running the JR synthesized radio and it glitches a bit with the duratrax fail safe on it also.
There is a capacitor that you can get for it to make the glitching go away.
I am about to try that.
I have heard also that the new Fasst system works well too from Futaba
