Default Scratch Built Thunderboat

Here are a few photos of my 266 division hydroplane that was scaled up to Thunderboat specs. Length 51 3/4" X 24 1/2" Width. This was built mainly for fun but boat actually runs pretty well.

Last test run was 54.5 MPH on GPS.

When the motor loosens up and maybe a few more tweaks it may improve a bit more. I posted a video of the last run for those that may be interested..

I'm looking to find a suitable 1/4 scale driver to replace 1/6 scale Earnhardt Jr.

Thanks Mart,
The entire hull and cowls are wood. Plywood hull, Basswood and epoxy with glass cloth on Cockpit and Cowling.
