Default Flexshaft BJ55 or Hydro

Just wondering if anyone can give me info regarding the lenght of the flexshaft for the blackjack 55 or the hydro gas version.
Is that 1/4 shaft too?
Thanks

I think the stock shaft is 15 1/4. I have one in a box somewhere, Ican double check if needed.

The shaft is quater inch. The dimensions I gave WHH when converting mine to quarter inch prop shaft were flex cable 13 7/8" ( I believe I deducted 1/8" of the old one for), 1 3/8" for the step between the strut and hull and 1 7/8" for the strut/cartridge width.

if your going with OEM just remember it's 1/4" cable with a step down stub shaft from 3/16" to 1/4".

I think it's actually step down from 1/4" to 1/8", either way if you are getting a new setup go 1/4" and loose the spacer inside the propellor. I've followed a couple of BJ55 motor upgrades and they were snapping the OEM prop shaft.
