Expresscraft Cheeta Test Run Pic's
Test run went great !
Man it was fun to run a R/C boat again, it's been a while !
First 5 min's I had about 15 people watching me, they loved the boat !
Got the Cheeta in the water ran around slow at first to check water cooling system
I made a few slow passes to check radio trim no adjustments needed ! luck !
Hit the throttle she lifted right on to plane and ran great but was running a little wet ! see pic's
That's ok, a few small adjustments will take care of that !
After 10 min of running I stopped to check things out, every thing was perfect !
Check the GPS 40.6 off the bench settings . Man I'm happy, that was my goal speed .
She has a lot more for sure as it was running very rich, tuned pipe needs to be shortened
and header needs to be cut to correct length.
I need to get a prop as I was using a prop from my cat 7016/3 to big !
Second run
I made a small adjustment to the strut to lift the bow still was running wet but better.
I ran for 1/2 hour and only used 1/2 of the tank of fuel . Next time I won't fill the tank.
After running I checked the GPS 42.8 before I could not take a pic of the GPS the battery's died.
I'm very happy with this boat I think with time I will get it in 50 MPH range, better then I wanted !
Now I will go strip her down and paint !
Sorry no video I could not get the camera in video mode !

Thanks for the kind words, not that much work. It was a easy build and fun. After paint we need a nice day to run.
Now that you are on RCU you have to post pic's of your boat !
