The Manta Ray & the Mag 57 handle the chop well. I have the 57 with the M5 & my buddy has the Manta Ray with the M5. His boat is alittle quicker about 45mph. As far as the best hull I really can't say. Its a matter of what you are looking for as the best. The Enforcer hulls have good lift so they get up fast & ride high on the water. The shorter hulls, (46in) the Super G & the Team Pro,& the 46 SS. The 46-SS is not advertised but available which is the Team Pro w/out the Hatch and a 26 Zen w/ a canaster exhaust are faster than the Manta but no where near as stable. Give Tony C. a call at WHHs and he can answer all of your questions on the hulls.

happy boating

Congratulations on choosing a WHH product. We've enjoyed the Mantaray the best out of all the deep V hulls from Tony the best. The size is perfect. With M5 upgrade it’s a blast. Tuff as nails and very reliable. Go for the kit version and get to know how it all works, Enjoy.

welcome guardian707, yeah i told myself i was going to take my time building my mag57 because i was busy building my garage at the time. but once i got started on her it was all i could think about and somehow i found lots of time. usually late at night and before i knew it she was complete but what a blast! my guess is you will finish your Manta Ray long before the ice melts! good luck and be sure to post pics/info of your build.

im fairly new too gas boats i started with a 32"lapcat 3 w/7.5cc o.b nitro about 14 yrs ago i sold it 2 weeks later because it was too much maintenance for me.. so i purchased a gas boat 6mnths ago its a 1998 model 55"scarab w/30cc cobra motor from international r/c from the original owner for a good price but i realy like it..but i just wanted too say that 1month ago i bought a 55"enforcer mantaray and love it im just now breaking it in it has a 260 zen, clutch, waterpump the boat was brand new. the guy i bought it from bought it 5 yrs ago and never used it.i bought it for a steal but it just didn't have a radio, receiver and servos so bought them no problem now i have too tune the whole boat as far as rudder position, what prop, it came with one but im sure it could use a upgrade.. so any suggestions on tuning this boat let me know.....THANKS ENFORCER OWNERS....ohh and i love my mantaray cant what too upgrade...

Jim, Your Son is going to have a wonderful Christmas. Nice job, it looks great.

209lakerunner,
Congratulations on the new Manta ray. One of my favorite boats. There is allot of upgrades to the stock model. I installed the M-5 top end and WOW huge difference in power. Strut angle and trim tabs are also very important to have adjusted to conditions. Some times its the small things that help allot. I moved my fuel tank as close to the motor as possible to help dry the ride. I use a X467 prop. Very important to have balanced. Tony has many bling bling items for sale as well. Call Tony anytime and he'll explain allot about your new boat and suggest upgrades. Enjoy.

Like Chaparral97 said the permatex works great. The only plug I use is the NGK CMR7H. Lots of Hype about plugs. Tried allot of different plugs and no real improvement in HP. Here are some web pages that show you the plugs, pipes and M5 kit. The M5 kit is real easy to install. Tony has a great section on the WHH website that explains in videos step by step how to do many different projects on your boat. Have fun

Ran the sons Gator for the first time today. With the 26cc A/C-CY it was very fast!! But very loose and extremely sensitive to rudder-input. I have a little positive in the strut to remove and lower the epa on the rudder some, should calm it down a little.

Pulled the trigger today and ordered my first Enforcer boat. It's a white Team Pro Kit with black anodizing and the M5 upgrade. Will post some pics when it gets delivered in a couple of weeks. Now the ponds just need to thaw out around here! Been a long slow winter around Chicago.

I have the same exact boat that I run up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I have really enjoyed learning about the hobby by owning this boat. I installed a remote kill switch as well as a lipo battery to run the servos and electronics.
