What happened to you Henry, did you get a better offer or something you missed a good day and didn't get a drop of rain. Even though it was a race day I still got all the testing done that I wanted and run in the new Blata/ Bzm engine, It's really going to go well, very happy with it so far. The Apache with the SG ran 95km/hr with ease.

You should have stopped drinking earlier Henry. [8D] I'm glad I made the effort to go. It was raining on the way there but it had stopped soon after arriving. I got two second places and a DNF in offshore mono. The fuel tank came unstuck after the 2nd race but it looks like it was enough to get 2nd overall in offshore. Videos available soon.

Or perhaps shouldn't have let her out of the shed Mike
Women may come and go - but a good boat is a very hard thing to replace.

Your carb should be fine with those vents letting air in ,if not add a cpl of vents further forward on the deck somewhere.

Finally

Had the Viperhull Apache Maiden today Blue Skies for once,, But more Rain coming [:@][:@] Anyway was good to get her wet,, Went ok for its first run, The Air as in some other post was a big Issue as I like to run my boats with the cowl on, Still the Apache went ok, Mart am going to add some more Vents in front of the Carb as you said and also more vents at the back to get the balance right, what ever that may be, but the boat went ok and was happy,, mmmmm But not my m8 Ian who took the video he always says can't you drive straight for once..

Hi Everybody.

The Apache went ok but still lots of work to do.. Tony I ran a 7015/3 prop it seemed ok but time will tell, Have to get more Air going in and more heat coming out.
Will work on it..

And promise Mart will drive a bit straighter next time

JAW its a Omen mod engine m8, hope it will gather more speed as I run her In.

Apache 56 m8,, just hope it will go as fast as yours over WA m8,

Tony (noahdear) I got a big lake to run in just didn't take the rescue boat with me that day. c u Sunday..

Henry.

Henry i think you have enough air vents for escaping air and seems you have plenty going in so im not sure what the problem is .

hay henry , mate what pipe are u running and lenth?. i run a steel pipe set at about 12-5/8inch ,12-1/2inch, also i dont run with lid on cant let the motor breath then u end up havin to detune the motor form what daniel sead . and it seems true i always loose a little bit of top end when running with lid on...so i never run with it... but it can be fixed with a bit of tweekin...
also mate try a abc2714-3blade chopper.... even more funn....

well im about to look at getin a new pipe and gear for my hull .

Oi Mart. The Boat ran good most of the time I had it in the Water with the cowl on, ??? Only sometimes The engine would want to breath a bit more so I'm thinking Maybe just add a few more vents and Apache 56 I'm running a 1inch alum band pipe set at 12-1/2 for now still have a bit of tweaking to do but the main thing I want to do is run with the cowl on, I want the Apache to look like a boat when its running, And maybe will take your advice on the prop m8 as I need to build up my prop collection.

Henry.
