AEROMARINE 48! Can i builed an air cooled hatch??
Got it for a great price on the market. It has no hatch but my motor is the 23cc Zenoah air cooled. Could i build a hatch that has a pretty decent size air intake on the front and two outlets behind that contain PC cooling fans?? Would that keep it cool enough inside or is this an accident waiting to happen?? [:-]

Of course you CAN, question is how are your skills as far as building it. Best materials of course is fiberglass so you need to know how to get a basic form, or perhaps even build a mold. These take time and lots of effort and patience. I would suggest contacting Aeromarine and purchasing the hatch that is supposed to be on that boat anyway if you really want one. You would have to convert that air cooled engine to water cooled since that hatch will practically restrict all airflow around the cooling fins (if it would even fit).
