RE: can you put a clutch on a shockwave 55
the ShockWave 55 already comes with a clutch, unless it was removed.
if it was removed, go to Pro Boats web site and look under parts, clutch for SW55 and BJ55 $108 bucks.
I believe you can also get a clutch from other places like Bonzi Sports or WHH.

Heres one of the aftermarket kits available for the Shockwave (the factory clutch had some issues I believe).

This is the one I was going to put on my yellow Shockwave 55 if I would have kept it.It isn't as long as other clutches available. Might have to readjust your engine mounts on the aluminum rails or adjust the tube. http://www.oneillbrothersracing.com/...nfo/clutch.htm

The ONeill clutch is way too long .... go with the WHH one shown by Justaddwata ......... it's a bolt in and better quality and cheaper than ProBoat ......... Also the ProBoat will drive u crazy with constant 'ding' sound at idle ..... steel clutch drum cause it to rattle or ding sound at idle
JMO........ Idid same thing for a friends boat and it bolts in need a newer cable for SW55 though
