I bought one ogf the Makita 18 volt coardless chargers/ sullivan starters, and I put the pully over the coupler.

There was a person making them all built together, NOTa Geeser wheel, but the same size so you do not have to redo the stuffing tubes, does anyone know where to get these at? you can have both the pull start, and thebelt start.

Also what belt has anyone found that grips the best???

Dave Marles sells 'em.must be somewhere in the US

I've tried one on a motor, only problem is leaving the belt in the hull when running,as we know gas boats get greasy with oil etc and the belt tends too slip, unlike the rear pulleys, where the belt is removed after a start.
Best bet with belts is to get a car fan belt and slice it the whole length with a sharp stanley knife, they will never snap.

Does anyone know who makes this hull? I just noticed the clam shell design and was just wondering who made it.

It appears to be a Aeromarine Apache (type) that has had the shoebox lip filled in and sanded. I don't know of anyone that makes them that way out of the mold anymore. The seams tend to split overtime unless you really know what your doing with the glass work.

Rats[:@] eve though I think think the Aeromarine Apaches look just fine, I was hoping that there was a seamless hull out there.

Best way to do em is in the moulds but you need moulds made for the job,its very time consuming work and i aplaud anyone doing it the hard way like this which is removing the shoebox lip and filling and such as its a lot of work and not easy to do.I have no plans to make any clamshell hulls at the moment.Like the graphics they look nice, the boats a credit to your hard work well done.
