Default 7.5 K&B tuned pipe

My son's boat blew over and came up without it's pipe. what would be a good replacement? the one he had curved up around the powerhead. looking for something like that. it's a modded out monster of a k&b 7.5 from ebay ,runs very strong.

www.htbboats.com is one of the few places with 7.5 OB pipes.
Tie it on with a music wire (4-40 threaded rod) from one of the engine lugs to the pipe or use braided metal fishing leader line for insurance against loss.

Thanks Ron I'll check with htb about the pipe  I TOLD THAT BOY ( HE'S 24) TO WIRE THAT THING ON THERE.
but you can't make them listen. so now i'll get to buy one for him and not for me.

I've got a 23 year-old so I've been there too many times myself.

OK, the fun part now. For 7.5's you're going to need about 10-1/2" from the glow plug to the widest part of the pipe. The fun part is getting a correct measurement with all of those turns. Cut off a piece of solder to length, that will make it easier to do.

ok I'am stumped we finely had a chance to run with the new pipe. it won't run right . takes off fine, cruises around fine at low speed. when we open it up it blast off. all good right. But when we let off it stops running no sputter just stops. I tried leaner and richer no change.could it be the lsn. carb and tank are clean.oh     we changed to 50% from 30%

Sounds like your pipe could be a bit short, it may be lean as well. What size is the stinger opening on the new pipe ? You may have to add a reducer if it is to large.
