"SURVEY SAYS???" Hey you guys, what 3, or more channel radios are you guys using to get remote fuel mixture adjustment on your nitro boats??? Almost every radio out there right now does not seem designed for this very well?????Please respond.

for your money, I find that the Futaba Magnum T3PDF is the best for this, Tower has then for around $135.00. Then the JR Racing XR3 or XR3i are good ones for around $180.00

Thanks HLMJC, is that the one with a button for channel 3, or a knob? if its a knob does it have detents (Not a smooth rotation)? If it is the knob, how do you know when to stop turning it? Does it have stops at the limits of rotation, or can you turn it one way, or the other all day? Are you actually using it to vary your high speed needle valve? Can you make large mixture changes from your xmtr, or only very small ones? I,'m having a hard time just visuallizing how to even think about how to use these new radios for mixture???

The Futaba T3PDF radio has buttons, that are programable. It can be preset for up to four positions, or it can be set to move as much or as little you want it to back and forth all day.

The JR radios third channel is too slow for a fuel mixture control. I know, I have a XR-3.
