Default 91 marine motor

Hi there boaties.
I have just received a brand new ASP91Marine motor as payment for an unpaid loan and I'd like to know if this motor is any good in a boat? I have a tuned pipe and I will be running a stinger surface drive and a 40 inch hull that looks similar to a Silak ( circe 1978 design-LOL). If not I will strip it and use it on a plane where power is not that important. Will this set up work for a boat?
Cheers Rinkhals

Can you post some pictures? I did not know that they have (ASP) marine motors so big.

Hi there Blackout. The motor develops 2.6hp at 18 000 rpm....it is just a sport boat as I know that it would never handle the CMB, Rossi or any of the other high end motors.
Many thanks Rinkhals

The hp is about half what other .91 marine engines put out. The rpm is also down about 5,000 rpm. But, in a 40" play boat, it could work out to be a good combination. I'd give it a try since it's already setup for marine use.
