Don't hold your breath on that one buddy!

As an OT, how ya doin'? Wasn't your back messed up? You're in joplin also, that city is trashed after the tornado hit. I talked to Lynn Cooper the day after and he's just outside of Joplin but missed the bullet.

He is when he can. Mark lost his job with IBM then had ot move. He still pops in here once in a while but I don't know how active he is. He used to make a couple of trips up here a year to visit relatives in Grand Rapids and would bring us up fuel from Wildcat.

I have one but only fired it up once and it still hasn't seen water, that was a year ago. It's probably the best bang for the buck right now in .21 nitro motors. Those CMB's are works of art but they've got a Picasso price tag on them too! I've only got a dogs playing cards on black velvet budget.
I almost typed that with a straight face......

The VS-1 canopy is an obvious rip-off of the Dumas with just enough changes to legally make it theirs. The TS-3 JD got from I believe the Rinker Boats F-1 so although it's a Grimmie design it still has a little JD influence in it.

It is abit different isnt it? Bill Britton (Im sure you know him from IW) is the builder/designer of the boat. A little bit different principle then most, but it seems to work very well. No stumble blocks needed, and it just lays down and rockets around the corners. He no longer makes them, I think there is something like 9 of them in existance, and I have number 9

Yes, Tim is great.  I try and get him in there every chance I get.  Usually a daily PM back and fourth at minimum.  He is a very very good dude.  Helped me out alot in the past.  I need to ship him a sport 20 to test engines in, and help me out with button design, etc.

I hear you on the vII price. Too bad... I like the idea of an aircooled outboard. The engine is never in a cowl and the lower unit acts as a big heat sink, so the cooling head is really not needed.

From what I have read on Intlwaters, it is worth it if you want the fastest engine for the stock class.
