miss bud boat prop shaft help...lost it in the water
i finally got to run my miss bud boat 1/12 scale boat after having it for 5 years and finally getting it back together. i took it for its maiden voyage and i only got to get one tank of fuel ran through it when my drive dog and2 peice prop shaft tube camer loose, the prop and shaft all went out the backof the boat and went to the bottom of the lake.i wascurious if anyone knew where i can get a replacement shaft at. i had a blast running it and would love to do itagain but i can't seem to find the shaftthat it needs. and idon't know the sizeof it cause well.......its at the bottom of the lake haha. any helpis much appreciated, thanks again, steve.

The Shaft is just 1\8 steel or stainless steel rod, Pro Boat doesn't offer any parts for that boat anymore so you will either have to make your own or find someone to make it for you. You should be able to get the materials from your local hobby shop.
If you have a Good Hobby shop localy you should be able to pick up a [link=http://littlemachineshop.com/products/product_view.php?ProductID=2847]5-40 Die[/link] to cut the threads on the end.

Also try phills hobbies the seem to keep spare parts for most 1/12 hydros
