picco parts
Hello,
I was wondering if any one knows where I can get a rod and piston for a picco 80. If anyone is interested I just posted a add for a mono boat with picco 80 running excellent. also included 1 picco 80 and another picco 60? both need piston and rod.

Lots of luck, seriously as they're very hard to come by. The .80's were notorious for breaking con-rods. A friend of mine scored 2 .80's from a local hobby shop and already had one. We're talking 10+ years ago as he got those mostly for parts and the con-rods were rare back then. I'm guessing that pistons won't be easy to find either.
There was a guy I think in Indiana named Brad Christy that was making the rods for a while but I haven't seen him online in a long time.

OPS #6510 conrod will fit both engines as my memory serves me well.
Brad Christy / Paul Stirton / and Ken Retallick can make new pistons.
But you'll have to send them the liner and a old piston.
