RE: Unofficial Nitro Hammer Thread
took my boat out yesterday on the river and it was smoking until some jerk in a jet skit drove by and the wake turned it over but it ran for like a minute before dying. I had to go swimming but she did not bring in much water and was cruising nice.. gonna have to go on a weekday less traffic there.. NO big ponds around here.. but the illinois river.

RE: Unofficial Nitro Hammer Thread
I really need a new hull Too!!! Mine is 2.5 years old. it has aken a beating, it's about done for. there are stress cracks every wear. A tiiny hole has actually developed in the hull on the bottom, it doesn't leak too bad but when it's on the stand and I rev the engine the water squirts out from the high vibrations.
MY stringers have come unglued inside and now there is actually a dent or impression on the bottom of the hull.
IF ANYBODY FINDS OUT WHERE TO GET A NEW HULL, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

Here are the pics, You can see in the first pic, the clean spots are where the stringer is supposed to be. you can also see where the fiberglass is chipping away. in the other pics on the bottom, the black lines are cracks where grease is leaking out. I take very good care of my boats, but this hull is very flimsy! Repairing would have to be done by a professional, that is too much work for me. That's why I would like to get a new hull for it!

Anyone know the ballpark setting for the low speed needle? I picked up a used boat and both needles were way out of wack. I got them close, just curious what was the factory setting.

im not sure wut mine are set at. but it ran good, the engine did when i ran it, but i would say it depends on the weather at ur pond, or where u run for the settings.

RE: Unofficial Nitro Hammer Thread
anyone know at what speed the Hammer starts to chine walk? After some tweaks on mine I cannot got over about 85% throttle without really back walking. Trim wise it seems pretty good, but on water with ripples it gets very unstable at full throttle and wants to blow over. I guess the tweaks went a little too well
