Default prather to octura prop conversion

I was wondering if there was some sort of conversion between octura and prather props. My boat has recommended prather props but my local hobby store only carries octura. Also if you guys had any quick explanations about what the numbers mean. Thanks

Octura is pretty easy to figure out if you know the metric system. The first number after the "X" is 1.x (4, 5, 6, etc.) is the pitch in millimeters. The last 2 numbers is the diameter in millimeters. Prather is more difficult because they just use a numbering system based on size.
If you want to, PM me your name and address and I'll send you a copy that I have of a really good prop chart. It has Octura, Prather and ABC props listed with the diameter and pitch in both SAE and metric, MPH at RPM levels figuring in a 15% slippage factor.

I've already had requests for the chart. I'll get more printed up tomorrow. I will do a limited amount so get them in to me by a Private Message.
The Prather 235 measurement is 2.36" dia. and 3.20" pitch. The closest Octura which is slightly smaller is the X-457/3 at 2.24" dia. and 3.14" pitch, still in my opinion a lot of prop for a .32 . The largest prop that I turn on my .45's is an Octura X-450/3.
