I've had Tom's personal boat in my hands (the flamed one in the ads) but have only seen it run on a video. Reviews are mixed on its preformance as one witness to the run in Tom's video said that Tom would be happy if it mixed paint so I took that from someone who knows 'riggers.
I don't know pricewise but it really isn't a bad buy.
I've talked to Tony Marquart about his Bantam .12 and am thinking of getting one of his. That and he offered me a deal on it.

Either of the two that I mentioned above would handle the .18 a lot better than the Climate boats. Tom is working on a Firefighter .18 to handle the extra power but unless you have the hottest OS .18, they should be able to handle it.
There are going to be more 'riggers in this size range coming out this year. The Indy club has added the "A" 'rigger class to the Hydro Masters race so there are people working like fools to get their version of a .12 'rigger out. Whoever brings home the green jacket will be selling a lot of kits.

this sounds like a pretty exciting year tehn. The only thing that worrys me is that ill buy the kit and muck it up some how during the building process. Hmmm im gonna be getting some money here pretty soon within a month or so but i dont know how much, if i get enough my splurge and buy the hull and the surface drive at the same time.

It's going to be a year that's way past due!
I started preparing for this year a long time ago as I bought my first .12 mono before the rules were changed to include the .129 cu. in. car and truck engines. One race here in IMPBA D-2 is holding a .12 mono class and I currently have 2 done and 1 more in the works that I want to build for SAW record trials.

Not right off hand but if I see some I'll let you know.
Mark Sholund is working on a .12 version of his .21 Stealth hydro. If it's anything like his .21, it ought to be nice but the price tag is going to be up there too.
Oh! Try www.bbyracing.com as he did have one. CMD has one but it's way out of what I'd pay for one.
Eric Canto has/had one but I'd have to see if I can find how to locate him. Another is Frank Bonanno.
They're coming back to me now..........
