Hi,well the guys around here dont race nitro or gas just electric.I've just found out I'm the only one in the two county or more whos runs nitro.I gess you can call me a rebal.I'd hoped that I'd didnt make a mistake in getting in/running nirto. I'm a newbee at nitro.

Nitro is top on my list something about water and electric I dont like plus always charging the batt.s, gass is cool to but the price getting into them is higher..

Yep its over as of today The RTR class was won by jerry D. second was sam miller 3 was kip wood I hit the 4th spot but I had a bad last race as I came around a turn I cut it a little to much and sam and I plowed right into each other at full speed the hit took me out of everything the llumar with .18 I was running is well hurt Ill post a picture of it later all in all It was lots of fun and there were some very fast and awsome looking boats there I cant wait till the next one!

Thanks Toytatruckin. Man that sucks about you hitting head on. To tell you the truth I would rather not see those pic. They will make me sick. Oh well rubbing is racing.

well a little more than a rub, but it is fiberglass so it will fix as good or better than new we were planning some hull mods for the llumar and now is a good time!lol...I was on the outside and sam in his vegas was on the inside going into a turn I cut it a little to close and he didnt react quick enough to my mistake but everyone was good sports about it and sam went on to take second place in the RTR class even with a patched up boat...I have to say the vegas held up better than the llumar, if it would have hit on my turn fin the vegas, I think, would have been down for the count. here are the pics of the boat if you look at my damage you can see how the vegas went over the top of it, remember the turn fin is on the right sponson and thats what the top cut is from on the llumar

hay grim Ill try to get ahold of a points sheet I do know that this was my first offical IMPBA "boat" race and was good fun alot different from dry surface racing! My opinion on racing is Ive always liked building rc more than running it, racing them is fun but still didnt give me the same pleasure that building them does, it was the same way with dry racing for me dont get me wrong Ill race again and next time Ill have more time to get MY stuff ready to hit the water. Twisted liquid had 3rd 4th 5th and 6th place boats jerry and sam were the only boats in rtr that we didnt get ready.

Hey Grim Racing was great it was my first experience coaching Sam through the races. He had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the glory of victory and the agony of defeat ( he race in three different classes and was dead in the water his first RTR and B mono heats but won his first heat of jr class) in all the races he finish in vegas he was second and first or second in the other two classes, he had a DNF at least twice in all classes. I was very proud of him and overall he went away with two second place wins, Vegas and Jr Class and misses third place in B-mono by 25 points. Sam is ready for the next race and knows he is going to have to practice a lot for the next time he gets a shot at Jerry.

Bet it feels great. I'm hoping to have some moments like that sometime in the future. Rugrat #1 is still too young and rugrat #2 is still on the way.
