Default Nitro Boat Fuel

Do you have to use special fuel in the nitro boats that are water cooled, like the Traxxas Vee boat? I've never run boats or stocked them and we were thinking about stocking some boats from Traxxas and Maybe Aqua craft, just would like to see if I can get some info from you guys. Any suggestions on a good nitro boat line would be helpfull too. Thanks.

I'm running monster horsepower trinity fuel 20%nitro and 18%oil mix. You can run 30% nitro fuels but you need anywhere from 16%-18% oil mix in your fuels.Theres Odonalds fuel,Blue thunder, wildcat, trinity.Hope this helps.[8D]

Thanks, that helps in deciding what fuels to carry for the boats.

Seeing how you're in Texas, contact Ritches Brew as they handle fuels for everything R/C. The stuff isn't too bad as I've bought a few gallons from them.
I'd go with Aquacraft boats also if you want happy customers.

I THINK THEY ARE MISSIN THE BOAT. ANY WAY I RUN 15% OMEGA FUEL IN OUR BOATS , PLANES AND CARS. EASY ON GLOW PLUGS AND ENGINE PARTS..DO DA.

f16man, we have so many lakes, ponds and rivers around here you can't hardly spit without hitting one. We've got one LHS across the street from the K-zoo river and the other is right by a string of lakes yet boats are at the bottom of the sales list. Both sell a ton of R/C trucks though.
