Replacement flex drive shaft for SV27 Nitro
I was wondering if this would be a good replacement for my SV27: a Hughey .150 flex cable with 3/16" prop shaft. Was planning on getting it from Offshore Electrics. Is there anything else I need to do to it besides cut it to length?
Thanks
Thanks

Not sure, but be sure you buy LEFT HAND lay of the cable strands, they make both right and left. Right hand lay will untwist with a standard setup. Offshore Electrics cater to electric motors where some only turn right hand, and use a right hand prop.

I've got a Hughey cable in mine. Don't forget to buy an Octura drive dog and prop nuts while you're ordering. Get the drive dog with the smaller outside diameter. Just let Steve know what you need and what it's for, he'll set you up.
If you haven't gotten them yet, check out his adjustable trim tabs also for the Super-Vee's, they're nice!

Thanks Ron. I was planning on getting those adjustable trim tabs when I ordered the new cables - they will come in handy when I need to make adjustments right at the lake.
