Thanks Tom,
Today as far as racing the boat was great the only problem was the loose nut behind the controls................................lol. I had nothing but glow plug problems and flooding problems. I was so looking forward to running this boat and am so disappointed in the way I preformed in the pits.

Got some work done today.
Assemble the foam and ply sandwich. 1/8" ply sponson insides, 1/2" foam, 1/16" ply, then 1 1/2" foam You can use epoxy or double side tape.
Glue on the sponson tops
Glue on the sponson backs
Carefully sand the bottoms to the desired angle
Glue on the bottoms
Cut away / sand the sponson outside to shape
Glue on the sponson outsides (mine are drying now)

terry, thanks man ill let you know on the cowl...
ran mine some today, boat is working great ! not sure on the speeds for sure but it was very fast..handling was very good also..wasp crf motor ,ab 12 pipe at 6 3/4 , 65% odonnel and a 1440 prop..
