Help with relocating my nipple
I have a TC31 and would like to move the pressure nipple from the header to the exhaust pipe. Do i just drill a hole in the fattest part of the exhaust tube? And do I need a tap to thread the new hole? What size? What do I use to plug up the hole in the header?
Thanks for helping a noob.

I just drilled a hole in the fat part of the pipe and JB welded it up. I don't know if I did it right but it works. Funny title lol

if it's an ali pipe you can use the nipple to tap the thread (carefull it may hurt), that's what I did on my macs tuned pipe. you'll need to block up the hole in the header too.

Dubro sells them with a nut that goes inside the pipe I use a long pair of hemostats to hold the nut in place while you screw in the nipple, don't forget to use some locktite.

RE: Help with relocating my nipple
When drilling the hole in the pipe dont use a drill bit. Use a sharpenned piece of round steel the size of the drill size for the thread on the nipple. Ali is soft and when you use this pin it would force the metle to shpe into a bell mouth. this gives you more meat to thread into. When you drill with a bit you only have the wall thickness of the pipe which is damn thin.
