Looks like there are more people in the middle of the state. The club in Greensboro is nice. You might need to drive down to check it out.

I am working with my LHS and we are planning to have a little fun-day racing some time this spring for all RTR boats. It will probably be at a pond close to Concord NC. I will keep you guys informed.

Keep it coming so we all can join in....I live close to Concord and don't know anyone that runs boats. I have a small pond on my property but not large enough to run more than one boat at a time. I'm starting a boat build and I was hoped to meet up with some folks that could give me some ideals on the set up but in the mean time I have an RTR Hydro and a couple sail boats. Let us know and maybe can help.

Sounds like a plan...I'm not real sure how the PM thing works but I'm sure I can figur it out. It would be great to hook up with some other boat folks. Send your number and I will give you a shout.

I'd like to catch up with you guys some time too. I used to run with the guys at Mt.Island years and years ago. If ya'll have a club or just fun running I'd like some info.I just got back into it last year, and have a 21" tunnel w/OS.18 that I'd love to match up against some RTR's to see where I stand.

RE: having trouble finding locals in NC
I heard about a bunch of guys that used to run boats a Mtn. Lake and I belive at Lake Norman years ago from a guy at work . This fellow has sence moved and I never got to go into details with him about his boats except back when he was racing everyone strach built their boats and there weren't any RTR. I'm new to the RC boats and the RTR are great but I'm trying to build a shovel nose and I need some guidence from some folks that have experience. Anyway maybe we all can hook up and have some fun.

Hey Rick, you can bring those hydros down to my house and run with us any time you want. We needed some more people this past Saturday. I'll be busy at the drag strip this weekend but you can pm your phone number and I'll give you directions. I have two vegas' and a formula hydro, as well as the fastech brushless. Should be a blast.

We are planning to run boats this weekend, mainly Saturday from about noon until... Will be at my house so it is perfect for the 1/12 scale stuff. Right now I think we are going to have six or seven stock Vegas's running together. A few of us have some mod Vegas's too, and some Proboat 1/12 hydro's. If anybody is interested let me know!
