To answer your very first question of this thread, Yes the Go engine makes the blackjack scream. I have one in mine.

Make sure you post back and let us know how you find it!
As a lot of people (including myself) have been tempted to buy one of these motors but there isn't much info/experience with them out there

I've been running my Go replacement for the better part of two months now, 2+ gallons of 30% thru it and no issues to date. Internals looking great.

The Go engine .18 hauls ass, I really like this engine. This engine screams and its not even broken in yet. It sounds really good with the macs pipe and tlr header. Very pleased with the results if your gonna buy one of these engines I'd get it from funrcboats.com I ordered the engine and within a week and a half I had my engine. I'm looking to get a .21 for my mv.

I have had that exact same thing happen to me on my go.18 engine. It looks like it's coming from the pull start which I recently replaced because I previously snapped on the cord (must have flooded the engine).
I opened up the replacement pull start (got exactly the same one for simplicity) but couldn't find any green oil so sealed it back up.

Anyway I was just wondering if you have found a solution to this annoying problem?

You need to look at the post date from that last post, August 1 of 2008. If there was any news or updates, I'm sure this would have been much more recent than almost eight years ago
