Servo Mount For Miss Elam
Anyone know where to get the servo brackets for a Miss Elam Hydro. They dont have it at Horizon Hobbies from what I can tell. Should I just try and make one?
Also my pro is slipping on the shaft. What needs to be done about that? I think its slipping where it connects to the motor.
Thanks,
Beasley

Is this what I need for my other proble. http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=PRB2506
When I take off it slips. The engine will rev but the prop wont spin. Sometimes it is good for a little bit but will eventualy fail.

One more question. The tiger drive slips also when I am starting it. I have to bump it and it will grab a little bit and eventualy start but if I hold the button down it will turn over for a second then just spin and not turn over the motor.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance,
Beasley

Instead of buying that copler and other driveshaft deal, what if I put a little JB Weld on it to get me by for the next month or so while I can still drive it and fix it right in over the winter. Would that work?
Thanks
Thanks

Cool. Im gonna try that. I am going to Home Depot today after work to get a little sheet off aluminum to build a new servo holder. Does that sound like a good idea? I am going to apoxy it in place after I get it bent and the servos mounted.

RE: Servo Mount For Miss Elam
Ok beasley. I'd found my wooden servo mount. This is what I have in my Oberto#1 and this is for Oberto#2.. I'd used a wooden paint stir stick and used a 3/4x3/4 wooden square dole for your center..you'll see in the pic what I'd done.. after you make them use epoxy to seal them off.. before you put your servos in it..use RTV on the top and bottom of the servos..it will help it from not moving around..then screws the inside center of the servos too Ok my flex cable.. I broke it and waiting on the wright cable size. I'd used a speedomerter cable for a temp fix.. I want to run the boat.. the cable is alittle small,so I'd soilderd the end that has to go into the coupler. I'll sand it until it fits into the coupler..
