Default aqua 18 engine question

Does anybody know if the os 18 cv-r cover plate will fit the aquacraft 18 engine?

I would like to eliminate the recoils on a few of my engines.

Just take the recoil off and run the stock back plate with the stub staff extending. I don't think there's that much internal drag with the stock back plate.

I'm 90% sure that it does. A friend did it on his and I'm pretty sure that is the one he bought.

yes it will, there is a ring i guess you can call it that you need to mill down just a little bit and it will slide right in.

As JD said just run it with out, the stub that sticks out is no big deal, ran mine all year like that.

Yes it will, I put one on mine. You have to shorten the shaft off the back of the crank where the starte engaged but other than that it works pretty slick.
