Removing Shockwave 36 Engine
Hey guys I am new to nitro boating and I was told by my local hobby store that I need to remove my engine and clean it out because it was gummed up from sitting on the shelf for so long.
I am lost as far as how to remove the engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated as well as any other modifications that would be beneficial for better performance from this boat!
Thank you and I hope everyone has a great day!

RE: Removing Shockwave 36 Engine
Study the interior of your boat. Detach all lines from the engine , remember where they went and make sure your fuel tank is empty. Remove the drive cable and prop shaft by detaching at the collet off the flywheel. Loosen the hex nuts on the mounts where it meets the rails. Pull out engine with the mount on ,gently. Use tools of the right size. Don't strip anything.
