I run this at Seneca Army Depot. I've been autocrossing for 7 years. We thought we lost SeAD, but we have it again this year. I'm still taking the year off to try RC boat racing. I don't have the time to do both.

I like the color Craig. I'm still running RC trucks. gotta end soon. This cold weather got me inside. You know cutting wood heats you 2-3 times before you get ashes .cutting splitting stacking. that gets you sweaty . I had a wood stove for years until the back went out. I miss one kinda . My sons been putting gas inserts into the old fireplaces. That stopped when the weather broke. He's back at Budweiser brewery a 1/2 mile from my house.. My next door neighbor works there too. They only had one line running. He was on layoff as well. Spring is coming slow. Ill be ready . Have you come up with any testing days ? Did I notice another CNY guy posting?
PS I like Syracuse orange. You have a red tint orange. just the way the sun is hitting the pics
We got a all state Rochester guy coming to play football next year. Quarterback , Russ -Henrietta.

The Kubota should be delivered by the weekend. We have another pinewood derby on Saturday. My 2 boys came in 1st and 2nd overall at the first race, so now is the district race. On Sunday, I should have plenty of time to spead some stones with the loader and get the dock and retrieve boat in the water. That's all that really needs to be done for now. I should have time to start putting bouys in too. So, the first test and tune could be April 9th and, or 10th. I'll know for sure after this weekend.

Spring is coming but slow. I ran like poop last night. 43-45 laps. and just last week I ran the best all year 53 -54 . I'm getting ready to lay down my trucks for the season. The boating season is coming. I've done my homework all winter. Futaba savvy

If anyone wants to run boats Saturday or Sunday we can. The weather forecast is iffy, 55 degrees and 40% showers, but that could change.

I have stones spread out where we can pit. But, with all this rain, driving to the pond might be tricky. If you have 4 wheel drive you might be o.k., otherwise we'll have to carry our gear about 250 feet to the pit area. Bring your boots. You won't be walking in mud, but there are puddles of water on the grass.

The bouys are not out yet, but we could work on that between running boats.

Let me know if you are interested.

Yah, Sunday looks better, 66 degrees and only 20% percipitation! [8D] Saturday is dry too, but cold at 50 degrees. With Saturday being dry, we just might be able to drive to the pond. I'm looking for a good price on milled asphalt to make an access road to the pond. Crusher run limestone is too expensive for a 350' long drive-way.

I was thinking 11:00 am might be a good time, but you could show up earlier or later if you want. Just let me know.

Sunday could hit 70 degrees! [8D] But, there is a 40% chance of showers, which is actually quite low. Saturday looks rain free, but only a 59 degree high. I still think Sunday might be the better day. The forecast could still change....

I would love to join you but have some obligations to attend to since we just got back from Toledo (awesome show!).
April 30 or May 1 looks like the weekend I might be ready.

I have some new boats to test...

Sounds good! See you guys Sunday!

I painted one bouy orange with Rustoleum and it melted the styrofoam a little, but it still dried o.k and will work. I'm going to pick up some orange Krylon and try that tonight. Plasti-Kote is suppose to be the best for the styrofoam bouys, but I can't find it at Loews, Home Depot, or Walmart...

We saw them in 1/2 in Elmira. I wonder if a latex regular paint. brush on will work
2 for 1 the flat bottom stays flat. The spray painting is down. I'm getting good at spray painting, don't tell anyone. It gets all over my hands. the radio box cover likes to swing around when I hit it with the sprayer. I hang most everything like a dead deer. 3 hulls will I bring ,not the lighting Cat .21

Craig, I hope to make it out to your place on Sunday. I'll probably bring a couple of .21's to test. I look forward to meeting you. I think Neil is correct with 'latex' not eating the foam. Parma Fastcolor or Createx has flourescents that could be airbrushed on. If you want a more common spraycan, maybe some of the one's made for plastic furniture would work. RC

Sounds good!

The pond is 350 feet behind my house. It's a brick house with a white barn on the side. There is an access road that goes straight back to the driver stand. You can see the driver stand from the road. (It's not finished yet.) It's 9.5 feet tall. If you have 4 wheel drive you can try driving to the pond, but be careful because I made some ruts with the tractor when I moved the stones. If you want, call me on my cell phone when you get close and I can look out for you. I'll try to post tomorrow evening to let you guys know whether I think it's safe to drive to the pond. I'll probably try it with my car first and hope I won't be pulling myself out with the tractor.

Do you have room at the house & barn for parking? I'll bring boots. My hunting boots are a better boot than the BK barn boot. I need the exercise.

Hi Guys - I'll be there on Sunday. My new used truck is not 4WD so I'll park out on the road and hike in with the wagon:

Sure do. The best option would be to pull in the north driveway and drive around to the back of the barn. Follow my tractor tracks and that will take you to the back willow tree. That is all high ground, so you won't get stuck.

Hey Bob,

Pull in behind my barn and around to the back of the house. People drive too fast on my road to park your truck there.
