I believe thats "Grimracer" Mike Z's D Sport tunnel,

That's the boat! Wow, that's a good looking boat. I wonder if that cowl scoop at the top does anything at all or if it's just for looks. I can see it being a good idea to have a scoop like that that feeds air out the back into the air-cooled engine.

Some new stuff comming out,
Tecnopower powerhead is currently in testing, Not sure if lower will be in production.
And the NS295 tunnel in nitro or FE from ML Boatworks

at this point in time tecnopower are not making the outboard leg........ i have a tecnopower outboard powerhead and i love it

That Techno Power lower must be really expensive to make whether they put it in production or not. From the photo it doesn't look like casting at all - full on CNC'd rather. Not to mention all the carbon fiber.

Danny yea the cost would go up to sell as a complete outboard. With the OS already pricey, They are powerhead only for now.

Interesting trends going into the Fall/Winter season, 21 mod, In wood NS 295, In glass Vision 21,
Powerheads N/R 35 +, GO and Tecnopower, add the lower and pipe of your choice.
21 sport, Same hulls but just the OSXM or K&B if ya can find or build up a parts engine.

Thanks for the post about my PS295 and NS295. Attached are some other pictures of the 2 tunnels. They are both 29.5" in length, the PS is the FE version, the NS is the nitro version. I also offer a QS370 37" FE tunnel, and GS480 Gas tunnel. The PS295 currently holds all three SAW and 2 lap oval records in IMPBA. The QS370 holds the SAW Impba record. Hope to get the PS295 over 70mph soon, and get the NS295 in the record books. Here are some pics of the NS295 and PS295! If someone would like pics of the QS370 or GS480, just ask! hi all does anyome here have a prather lap cat 2 boat with 7.5 k& b motor ? i have a problem with it porposing , does anyone know whatthe weightshould be ? and any tips or pointers would be helpful , see i bought it off ebay with the title called basket case. the more i look at other peopls and compare someshapes are different will that matter ?

Danny, that is spoonecfx on intlwaters.  He has priceing and other hulls there.  Very good guy, and makes a very nice kit! 

Also, on the thunder tiger motor.  I love them.  They have a very good flexshaft, I would say similar to OS quality.  The entire motor is of great quality.  I just changed my flexshaft out for the first time in about 4 years.  I have not figured out how to make them run with the top of the mill OS engine on some people's boats.  (Mike Z for example) but I would say 90% of the sport boaters out there are in the mid 40's range.  These thunder tigers will run right in that range.  At last check, mine was right at 45 mph.  Which is usually enough to get to the front and stay there.

Of course, im always looking for that little bit extra :D <br type="_moz"/>

Hi Frank,
I've never ran a Prather, But generally speaking if its hoping about your motor is too high.
Might try setting the prop shaft even with the sponson bottoms or maybe put a small thin washer between
the motor mount and transom on the top two bolts. That will give you a little downward angle to help keep the nose down.

It includes the build hull, built in FE radio box, and the cowling. The hull is built using west systems epoxy on the inside and a seal coat on the outside. I offer extras like mahogany top decks, Dupont exterior 2k urethane clearcoat on the hull. Just depends what all you need! Mike

@cybercrxt - Thanks. If anything, it'll be nitro. Me no likey electric :D Haha. I'm in the process of putting together a full VS1 kit... But your boat's look amazing and I would consider building one for my next tunnel. I shouldn't be too far off. I'm getting back into the hobby and I'm having to start nearly from scratch and buy everything. So I'm watching the budget so I don't go too overboard.

@Rodney - I don't quite consider TT to be that "cool" of a brand, but that engine looks awesome and the price is right. I'm sure I'll end up with one soon enough. -Danny

Kite, Thats not a problem. If you ever need me to build you a hull, just shoot me an email at [email protected]. The NS295 nitro hull is on the verge of winning Dist 12 right now in B Stock IMPBA. The hull is very fast in all honesty. I think if you do the VS-1, you will probably enjoy it, but anything over 49mph with that hull, and it will not turn. The PS295 runs in the 55mph range...and likes it. Mike

Hi Mike, true... But to get one of these hulls (VS1 or NS295) to 55MPH you would need a modded engine right? Or am I wrong? I'm focused on running stock for this boat and any modding stuff leave it for a different boat.

VS1 runs great with a stock engine. One was running with my Vision the other day. Won't know how fast we are going until the timing system is online.
