Legg Lake, California

I was out at Legg Lake a week ago Sunday and was suprised to see no boats on the water. Is rc boating that dead around Los Angeles? Do any of you guys live in the area?

They probably don't run there every weekend. The big event is the record trials. Check the NAMBA site for events in your area.

the few times that i have been there, there have only been a couple of guys running their boats. are you sure you went to the correct section of the lake? it is the part right off of rosemead, just behind the strawberry ( i think thats what it is) patch.

must have been a fluke thing. if you go down there on a raceday there will be hundreds of people down there!! check the namba website for details namba19.com

the guys down there are usually running "insane boats" - fast @$$ boats!!! very fun to watch.

best thing is, that if there are namba members there, they will have the row boat unlocked. easy access to a stalled boat.
