Your longest lived aircraft
I was looking through the flight log that I used to keep and remembered this plane, I have airframes that are older but I haven't come close to this many flights with another one yet, What have you got?
1 - Hangar 9 Pulse XT 40
1 - Saito 82a
4 - DS821 servos (control surfaces)
1 - NES537 Servo (throttle)
1 - 4.8 Volt 1100 mah NiCD
1 - AR 7000 receiver
1 - Perry oscillation fuel pump
This combination resulted in a total of 583 flights. Unfortunately the plane was lost while performing low altitude rolling circles in 15mph winds, I crashed immediately after completing a downwind turn/roll. I also got 364 consecutive flights on 1 glow plug.
Unfortunately I am currently unable to access most of my pictures, my network drive seems to be having issues, but here is a stock photo.

Mine is a Sig Skybolt now 34 yrs old. It was build in the winter of 1976 and of course red, white and blue for the nation's celebration of the bi-centennial. It was my fourth RC build and was last flown a couple of years ago when this pic was taken. Interestingly, radio gear was just installed last week in prep to fly it again soon.

I have only been flying a little over a year and my Pulse XT 40 holds the record with over/or around 100 flights! I crashed it once because the elevator came apart and I could not maintain height to land it. I throttled down and she came in nose down angle. Fuselage broke in two places and was pretty close to a disaster, but I had the time and said to msyelf "why not give a go?"
It really flys good considering it has quite a bit of epoxy now [X(] I really put this plane through the paces. The strange thing is I keep grabbing this plane and flying it even though I have many other planes. I even fly the Pulse more than my Twist 40. Maybe that will change but has not yet That goes to show just how much fun the Pulse XT is!
Pulse XT 40
OS 55 AX
NES 537s all the way around (got one chattering some going to upgrade)
DX7 and AR7000

My oldest and dearest plane meet it's demise a few months back doing the limbo at a fun fly. It was a Goldberg Tiger 2 with an OS 40 FP for power. The plane was about 10 years old and had over 600 flights on it. It is the only plane that I have ever owned that needed new wheels installed as I spent countless hours doing high speed touch and goes with it. I have since replaced it with another Tiger 2 and the same OS 40 FP that was on my original. The only other plane that I fly that is better than my Tiger 2, The Old Ugly Sticks. I still have 2 of them that I fly. Good Luck, Dave

I have a Svensen Wayfarar Biplane I built in 1976 which I am in the process of recovering. And then there is my 22 year old GP Super Sportster that is always ready to go on a moments notice. It has a OS .61 SF in it and I fly it with an Ace MP8000 single stick radio.

My first RC plane is only from -81 and still going strong. 27" wingspan, designed for a Cox babe bee engine and a standard radio (2 channel). It now has modern radio and an AP wasp 1cc engine. Made a second wing for it this winter so that it would have ailerons too and not just elevator and rudder. I fly this plane whenever it is a little windy or when other planes feel a bit too slow.

My oldest plane is a Johnny Casburn ARC called the Little Super Lucky Fli. Maybe I can post a pic later. I completed it in May 1982, and got many flights on it at Chatfield in Littleton CO and at the Flyaways RC site near Scholls OR. Used to log my flights but gave that up years ago, so I really don't know that info. I think I last flew the plane around 1998 when I moved from OR to HI and gave up power since the swamp field there was just too inconvenient for me. Since returning to OR 5 years ago, my sons forbade me from flying this plane because they said is should hang in perpetuity from the ceiling as a museum piece of nostalgia for them and me, haha. So I have not flown it. Still has the Royal 40 in it (wore out the K&B 40 first in it) with one of those crazy onion shaped mufflers for sound reduction. Has Futaba 5GK AM (gold box) radio in it. Great flyer and I learned lots of pattern style aerobatics with it. It still holds a special place in my memory. Next oldest is a CG Ultimate Bipe that I built 1997, flew in OR for a few year till moving to HI, then began flying it lots after moving back to OR. Just flew it yesterday and my club mates love it. My GWS PT-17 Stearman....wins the prize!!
This November 3rd, 2010, it will be 7 years that I have this model in continuous flying condition. It has been my test bed in early days of nothing but speed 400 brushed motors in GWS EPS-400 gearboxes and it has flown with Astro Flight 010, 14-turn brushless in GWS EPS-300 gearboxes. However, now it flys with a discontinued Hyperion 400 inrunner brushless in gearbox and swinging the GWS Hyper 1070 propeller.

RE: Your longest lived aircraft
Built my Kadet Senior in '85, so 25 years on it. Has trained me and two other students. Crashed once but a quick rebuild.
Still flies great with OS 52 4 stroke. Slow and majestic.

Goldberg Sr. Falcon, built and first flown in 1974 - re-monokoted and re-engined in 2003. In constant flight status except between 2001-2003.
Tower 6XMA computer radio - flap/elevator mixed, aileron/rudder linked
OS-.45LA engine
12oz tank

RE: Your longest lived aircraft
I notice that most of the long-lived are pretty simple aeroplanes. Is that just chance, do you think?
I had a Precedent Stampe that lasted about 14 years and 200+ hours... again , a simple model; the sort that doesn't really bite. That'll be the best sort, IMO.

I have an RCM Plank that will be 39 years old this summer. However, it's longevity is due to being hung in my dad's basement since 1975. It's rebirth this summer will be with an eflite power 400 or 480 brushless.
I had a Kadet LT 40 that trained for 11 years before an aileron hinge let go.

RE: Your longest lived aircraft
my oldest plane would be my "other" plane......i only have 2...... i just started back into flying this winter after a 40 yr. absence.
it's a sr.falcon that was given to me by my best buddy's dad when i was about 14....i'm 56 now and before i got it, he had it long enough that it was just gathering dust in the corner of his shop, i bugged him so much, he finally broke down and handed it over to me! i really don't know how old it actually is. it has a m'coy .35(?) on it and an orbit-4channel in it that will still work, if i would put new batteries i it!. i flew it for about 2 yrs and just sort of lost intrest. something else grabbed my attention back them....HMMM... what could that have been?.
