Default I won a GP Escapade

Hi All,
At the July S.A.C meeting ( our rc flying club) I was the big winner in the raffle, I won a ARF GP Escapade, all the guys were telling me that this is a great first ARF build, and a great plane to fly. This will be my first ARF build, right now Im flying a Sig Kadet, PK Trojan, and a HZ Super Cub, I fly them about four days a week, a few hours a day. I was advised to wait until this winter to build it, and by the start of next year I'll be ready to fly it as it's a fairly fast plane. So I have a while to get everything I need together in order to complete this plane, I've been told to get an OX.46 AX engine for it, but I really like the sound of a 4 stroke, I figure I won the plane so I'd like to go first class with every thing that Im gonna need to get the plane in the air. I'd like your recommendations on what Im gonna need, as I've said I want to go first class on everything, right now Im useing a DX6 radio.
Thanks,
Paul

Escapades are great flying planes...There are two sizes.. I have the smaller one and I have an OS 46 AX in it which I think is perfect... You could run a four stroke if you want but I would save the 4 stroke for something like a Cub..The Escapade is a fast little plane and to me a two stroke suits it better.. That's just my opinion.. Lots of others will disagree..I think 2 strokes are a little easier to tune and maintain as well...

If your set on a four stroke put at least a .70 size in it. I have the .61 escapade with a magnum .91 r.f.s. in it. Good combination, one of my favorite planes!

Don't forget it can be set up as an electric as well. I have a .40 size that flys on 4 cells.

Standard servos work just fine. It's a fast little plane, I've had 40 and 46 2 strokes in it as well as an OS .70 four stroke. I've had one for 3-4 years now, you'll enjoy it.
