CG point
Hi - Anyone out there that can provide the cg point on a VNH LINE, Start 40 Evolution 2 Trainer? I acquired it from an estate with out any Manual or Instructions. I have used the Thickest part of the wing which falls on the Main Spar as a starting point. This falls at a little over 1/3 of the cord from the leading edge. Does that sound about right?
Thanks for any input you might have or any opinions in addition.
Darryl

Bob - Thanks for your input. I think I'll split the difference for now and see what happens. I'll post when the weather lets my field open up again.

So far no results. It's way too cold up here in Minnesota to even try flying outdoors. Usually by this time I've been out to the flying field several times but even the snow is against me this year. Skis just don't cut it when there is a foot or more on the grass. Hoping for milder weather soon. -15 or worse for the last few days. Only getting above zero in the next few days. Oh Whoa is me.

You might have better results with a pair of floats instead of ski's . It's been a few years since I've played in the snow ( YUK ) but floats do work nice , besides that way you have them for the lake when it get's warm ( ????? ) . ENJOY !!! RED

Hi - Red. Thanks for the input. You are very correct in the float Idea. Its just because I live in the land of 10,000 lakes I don't fly over water. Need a boat just in case something goes wrong and I really don't want to get into another toy to have to keep up. I envy you down in sunny Florida, but it's a little late for me and the wife to relocate.
Thanks again and happy sunshine. - Darryl
