Default Funtana 125 CG

I've recently finished building the Funtana 125, after crashing my beloved Funtana X100. I was able to use all the components of the X100 on the 125. However, with the OS 91 engine, the nose needs over a pound of lead to bring CG to the factory recommended specs. The X100 didn't need any weight. I'm very concerned about this big of a difference and wonder if anyone else has run into this. There is some build up on the horizontal stabs on the 125 that is not on the X100, but I can't believe it would account for that much difference. I would hate to loose this plane on its maiden flight, so won't fly it until I'm confident it's right. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
