Beautiful! It looks warm and sunny there. Have you flown it? I`ve yet to get mine up again. (Post #88) The weather is bad here in TN and the field is flooded. More previous attempts last summer/fall and the grass was too high and wheels too small. First chance I get will have to be the no-longer-used- for-full-size-aircraft paved runway I work next to.
What have you got for engines on those?

No, I haven’t had a chance to fly it yet. The weather here in Northern California is great, but we could use some rain. The Kobra is powered with an OS .35AX and the Kougar is powered by an OS .46AX. I still need to check the center of gravity, then it will be ready to test fly.

I've been looking for a Kobra at swap meets for several years. Haven't found one for the right price yet. Aren't there two tail configurations (fin size) to choose from? Anybody give me some advice on which configuration is best?

The best one is the one that turns "YOU" on the most!

Well Stickslammer, I finally flew the Kobra today. Three flights, its real fast and a smooth flyer, first flight I had too much aileron throw and it was a handful. After reducing aileron throw it smoothed out and flew like its on rails. Thanks for doing the build thread,I hope you get yours going soon.

I just acquired a built King Kobra that needs a new home if you care to adopt it. I also have a NIB kit if anyone is interested.
