Default Prop for Thunder Tiger .15 trainer

Hi,
I have a TT trainer .15 ARF that flys well. Problem is that I broke the original prop and don't recall what size it was. Now I try different props but A/C won't accerlerate well enough on grass to lift off. It used to be fine on grass with original prop. Does anyone know what prop comes with this ARF?

I know this will sound like a really dumb question but does this plane have a TT .15 on it? If so I would go with start with an 8x4 or a 7x6. Typically a .15 runs well with an 8x4 prop. Hope this helps.

I've had good results with an 8x4 on my .15 TT engine.

Yes, the engine is a TT .15. Actually bought the ARF which comes with the engine for $50.00 at a swap meet. Nice flying little airplane. I'm not sure if I tried a 8x4. Presently have a 8x6 on it. If I hand launch it, I'm OK. It just wont accelerate to flying speed on very short grass. However, it used to.

I'll try a 8x4 on it.

Thanks,

Bill

Here's the plane I have the TT .15 on. It weighs 2 pounds and has no trouble with acceleration on grass with an 8x4 prop.
