Default RE: wattage pitts with himax 2025/4200?

hiroman,

I have the Himax 2025-4200, CC Pheonix 35A, and a TP2100 3sp also. My set up is in a GWS Formosa. I have found that a 5.5:1 gear ratio works well with a 10X5 APC prop. I don't know how many amps it draws, but I get good 10-15 min flights because I never really need full throttle after take-off.
