Default Something Bigger - is there such a model?

I was reading an engine review on the net and the author mentioned putting the test engine in a model called a "Something Bigger". The name sounds familiar and the picture resembled a Sig Something Extra.

Does anyone know if this was sold as an ARF or kitted? TIA

I've never seen the plane myself, but it must be very popular. Ask people what they want for their next plane and lots of them will tell you "Something Bigger".

LOL, !! I had the plane and didn't even know it.

Well This isn't the Something Bigger you seek, just something bigger that looks something like the Something Extra.

I did one many years ago. After building a few SSEs, I was looking for something to do with an old ST 3000 and came up with this. The wingspan was 80" and she flew great. My only regret on the project was not finding a canopy and not having templates of all the ribs so I could have a tapered wing.

Hmmmm. I've got a couple G23s laying around. I wonder if.....

Actually, I think the "Something Bigger" is the AK Models Kit I mentioned earlier. If you look at the model it says "AK Models" on the side.

The 3D freedom was kitted from a previous owner. Its original name was challenged by SIG for copyright infringement. So it was renamed the 3D Freedom. Great plane by the way!
