Need a cowl for SIG Four Star 120
I am thinking about building another SIG Four Star 120. I had one a few years back and really liked how it flew. However, this plane really needs a nose job with those ugly trainer-like flat panels up front on each side of the engine. I could never figure why out why SIG didn’t cowl these great flying airplanes.
Have any of you discovered a cowl that will fit a 4 Star 120? Surely, there must be a cowl from one of the dozens of aerobatic designs (Extra, Edge, etc) that would fit. I saw a nice one from Fiberglass Specialties, but it was designed for a flat twin engine and had large side cheeks and a very large oval prop shaft hole for cooling a twin. I am going to use a 150 single.
Regards, Alfie

Fiberglass Specialties makes a cowl specifically for the 4-star 120.
