Cap 232
Hi All,
Getting things tidied up on a Cap 232 from Nitro Models Com. Directions are almost useless. Will try a smoke system this time. I've never attempted smoke on any plane. This is a .60 2c, 90 4c size I'm using a OS .60 with a slimline pitts muffler. I have a 13 / 6 Master Airscrew composite prop since I'm using a 3" spinner. Throws seem a bit small, 10 and 12 mm. ail. and elev. Looks like it will come in well under 7 lbs. Anyone flying one of these? What to look for, quirks, maybe under powered? Any smoke suggestions? Where should I place the check vavle, before or after the T.M.E. pump?
Here's some pix ,I think?
Thanks

RE: Cap 232
Hi.sorry cant answer your questions but I have a world models CAP 232 46R ARF.Just a tip for what its worth.I use a fill valve thats in line with the fuel supply line. When you plug in the fuel filler it shuts off going to carb and fills the tank.I put one of these in the pressurising line from the muffler in reverse.I plug in the filler plug which has about 6 " of tubing which vents tank until full.no mess and no flooded carb.I never installed the third fuel line and had to guess when tank was full by waiting for fuel to leak out of muffler.very messy practice.

Thanks Bonz,
The engines on it's side with a pitts muffler, I think it will be ok. I'll keep your advice in mind though if I run into problems
