NEW P51 MUSTANG:) with Pictures!
Hey everyone I just picked up my ParkZone P51 Mustang earlier today and just maidened it a couple of hours ago. AMAZING Airplane I LOVE it. Very scale flying roll rate is very good compared to what others have said about it, and landings and take offs are easy after a little getting used to. On my third flight I had it perfected. VERY FAST!!! for 179 dollars you can not beat this warbird. Now the negatives (every plane has them yall come on!) 1. I hate the battery hatch, not a good design for the battery as its way to tight and I feel like im gonna pull the leads out of the battery trying to get it out. 2. THATS IT! haha Thats the only draw back I found on the Mustang. Landing gear would be nice but understandable as the wings are foam and hard landings with landing gear on the wing would snap them easily. Overall I would give this plane a 9.5 for the LOW RTF price of 179 dollars! Here are some pictures of the mustang after the first few maidens

2boys yes this plane is amazing from the ease of build to the performance of it, VERY FAST faster then some of my glow planes, good roll rate as you can see from my video on here, Idk why people bash on hte roll rate of this plane... those rolls were also done w/ the control horns set at the mild setting, I moved the clevis's to the closer holes now so it should be even more responsive, heres the link to the video!

HardinValley, No I am using the entire stock set up, and yes you are right, not faster than my glow planes, haha I Just went out and flew the Mustang, and then flew my goldberg eaglet and the glow was deffianatly faster, the parkzone seems so fast though because its smaller hten the nitros and just looks very fast, but still GREAT performance and very fast for a 179 dollar RTF. would recommend this to ANYBODY who is trying to get there first low-wing plane.... NOT A BEGINNER PLANE THOUGH! low-wings are tough to get used to.

haha yess I know, well crashed the p51, during a lunch break at work it was kind of dark, and me being used to high wing planes... lost oriention and pulled down when i should have pulled up and front of the fuselage is gone, battery got punctured, and the wings ruined, DAMMIT. Idk I think it will be around 120 dollars in parts to get it in the air again Im thinking about just putting the electronics in an ARF electric that will match well with the motor. PLEASE any suggestions!

If you have a radio and 4 channel recieve I could sell you a e flight p-47. 450 outrunner brushless speed controller and servos if interested....The speed controler is programable ( very simple) to use lipo or one like was in your mustang.

hardinvalle nice plane do you also have a battery to go with it and charger? becuase I don't have any lipo's or lipo chargers and that'll be kind of expensive
