Ditto on the Twist.
Mine balanced just right with no lead. It is however a snug fit between the supplied motor mounts, which requires a little modifying with a Dremal tool.

So yours has a OS 70 as well? If so what size prop are you running?
Thanks

How did the CG work out? Any lead needed in the tail?
Thanks

I've got one in a Hangar 9 Twist 40 , spinning a 13x4W APC . Great combination for this airframe . Hovers no problem , and will pull to the moon .

Yep 70 Surpass. I was running a 12x7 APC and it pulled all the vertical I wanted, but since I need a new prop think I'll try Hellyah's set up... 13x4w.

Did you manage to get the throttle link working OK. read a review saying it could be a slight problem?

Yes but certainly is not straight forward set up. What I did is let the linkage wire, from the servo, extend 6-7cm past the firewall then do a U turn to go back and connect to the throttle arm with a ball link. It did take a bit of bending and trial fitting to make it work.
If somebody has a better/easier set up I certainly would like to hear it.

Awesome combo Twist 40 with the 70 4 stroke
Placed the battery in a pop hatch behind the wing saddle, receiver under the wing bolt plate, balanced at 4.50 - 4.75 depending on the prop with no nose spinner, throttle linkage is hooked straight to it and I've also done the U-turn also to hook it up, either way works great, but yes it pulls to the moon and does every 3D move.
Props were 14x4, 13x6, 13x4, 12x8,
the 13x4 is the best prop on this combo
A minute movie of the Twist and 70

And this pic is a twist 40 with a twist there is also movies of its maiden on the site this Twist 40 is powered with the 61FX

I just drilled a larger hole in the firewall so the clevice will pass through when the throttle is moved . The hole is about 3/8" , and have had no issues with weakening on both Twists i have built .

The Twist sounds great! It would be interesting to see how an OS70 would go in the new Hanger 9 Tango?
Anyone have any pics on the throttle link or engine bay with a OS70 fitted?
