Default Herr Little Extra and OS LA 15?

A good combo? I am looking for a small field plane that would be a pleasure to take out every time. And is this a good motor I cant afford the 15CV so this looked nice and cheap

Its a great combo, I had a purple one with a magnum .15 that was a screamer until a bad hand launch took it out...the arfs are down to .$60 so I ordered one of each color for my 2 OS .15's..Rog

the OS. LA engines are quite good but you must remember they do not have a main bearing but only a bronze bush so life is limited compared to the other OS bearing models. keep your fuel mix at no lower than 20% oil and try not to use a starter when starting up as this puts front load on the front engine bushing and forces the crankshaft back to the backplate. run this engine in correctly and do what i have mentioned and this little engine will last many years.
