Ultra Stick 40 or Rambler 45
I am looking to purchase either a Ultra Stick 40 or the Rambler 45. I want this airplane to be a sport aerobatic, almost a beater aircraft. One that can be flown daily. I have an OS 55AX 2 stroke for either project. Any comments before I purchase.

I've owned the Rambler .45 with the .55-AX. The plane is an EXCELLENT sport flyer. It is extremley stable and plenty maneuverable. It tracks like a pattern plane and has light wing loading for easy, gentle landings.
Never owned the Ultra Stick myself but I'm sure it is a great airplane too. Probably a little wilder than the rambler while trading off some of the "flys like its on rails" feeling I'd think?
Either way would be great.

I owned an Ultra Stick 40 and loved it! It had flaps and it was a blast using crow. Very fun plane that could fly in almost any condition. A very good plane to practice with! Using an O.S. 55, dropping the flaps you could probably take off in less than 10 feet.

Will the Rambler knife edge very well if you use mixing?
