Default Hanger 9 SUNDOWNER 50 Electric set up???

Whats up guys, im looking into getting the sundowner hanger 9 and i want it electric.

What electronics should i get/would b happy with? i kno they have the e-flite motor and 60amp esc but iv seen people put 100amp esc with same electric e-flite motor... any advantages?

mainly concerned with motor/esc and prop combination.

this is my first kit, mainly into helis. i have 2 planes tho but didnt build.

Thanks

ALSO- i want it to be fast!!!!!! i have the striker f27c brushless 80mph. i want it to be much faster then that

I think you can go bigger ESC without any problems other than the bigger the ESC the more it weighs.
According to H9 the 60 amp ESC is plenty for motors like the power 46. If you are putting a .50 ic equivalent motor in go for the 80 amp otherwise I don't see an advantage to a 100 amp ESC with a .46 ic equivalent motor.
I see Hangar-9 recommends the Power 46 with a 60 amp ESC for the sundowner. If you already have the 100 and it doesn't weigh much more than use it. Otherwise go with the 60.
I am still learning about electric, busy electrifying my .46 size SIG midstar (60 amp ESC with power 46 E-Flite motor), so maybe someone else will add something more useful.

Fast = money ... if you want her to exceed 80 mph with ease then you are looking at a minimum of a 6S set up. If money is no issue then a 10S set up with something like a Nue motor will take you to 120 mph even. Get yourself a nice HV ESC of no less than 80A. You want to turn a prop of say 10x10 to 14x14.

The Power 60 is a 400KV motor and for its size you may want more cells for that motor if you want to push it hard with a smaller prop. You may need to go up to 8S to get the RPMs high. With a 10" pitch you want to touch about 12,000 RPM to get you your 80+ mph.

6S

Motor choices - 4260 sized motor of about 650KV-680KV turning a 10x10E will get you about 100 mph.

As for a crazy fast set up, look at this, there are some guide in the video and the comments:
