glassed Smoothie
I picked up a beautiful old Smoothie that has wheel in the wings like a GP Sportster. The 43" fuselage is fiberglas. And the 53" wing is probably Monocoat with some kind of a clear coating on them that makes it very smooth to the touch. I have a OS .46AX on it now.
I'm wondering what the CG point is (I'm guessing about 25% of the wind chord) and what should the aileron, elevator, and rudder throws be at low and high gain? I fly easy ... no 3D flying.
Help appreciated. I'll try to add a photo later on.

RE: glassed Smoothie
My new release Balsa USA Smoothie kit just arrived this past Friday. From the written documentation that came with the kit:
Incidence: 0 - 0
Engine offset: 1 ~ 2 degrees right
Control movements:
Rudder 1" each way
Elevator 1/2" each way
Ailerons 1/2" each way
Measured from the full size plans in my kitthe COG is 2 3/8" behind the wing leading edge.
